In a situation like this pandemic that we are dealing with, there are a lot of positives that can come out of this if we choose to see them. For example, because of the lock-down in California there are so many things I have learned about where I spend my time and my energy, and I realized that I was completely unconscious of it before.
I live under a different framework than other people. I truly believe that every single moment is a gift and an opportunity to help healing one way or another. It means that I am taking personal responsibility for the experience I want to extract out of today.
I look back at the last three week I know that in my soul I have grown. I know that the light and truth that I carry is stronger than it was going into this experience.
I take the pandemic incredibly seriously, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t choose to be happy. I can also choose to see the magic in this day, every day. Today will never come back again.
I don’t want to look back in a few months and wish I had gotten more out of the time we were quarantined.
Is there a lot of suffering going on? There is.
Is there unnecessary suffering. There is.
That is my personal job, helping people figure out how to create that peace of mind. How to understand how their mind works.
The more that we understand that we can tune in at a different level and we can help our mind operate differently, incredible things happen.
Some close friends of mine have lost some significant people in their lives. My light and stable focus has allowed me to show up and be more present, compassionate, and empathetic than I would be if I was staying focused on the anxiety, fear, and other components.
Being a light in the world doesn’t mean we disavow the pain around us. It means we bring our light to it, and raise the world up a little bit more.
